Overall we'd say this album is more quiet & dreamy than the last one & there's even a MOGWAI esque instrumental boldly placed 2nd in the album sequence. Neil Halstead & Rachel Goswell share vocal duties almost equally & as always they compliment each other perfectly. Their 2017 comeback was more present & less "shoegazey" than their original albums & this one follows in those footsteps though they've added more synth textures & acoustic guitars this time around.
